The Mets lost to the Phillies last night by a score of 6-3 in 10 innings. Raul Ibanez hit a 3 run homerun off Ken Takahashi in the 10th, though Parnell got the loss because he was responsible for the lead runner.
This is truly frustrating for all Mets fans, as it looks like a repeat of last season. The Mets have an early lead, the Phillies come back to tie the game and win in extras.
